About us

In 1979 Japan Auto Parts was founded as a trading company for all kinds of automotive wear parts. Around the turn of the millennium, we noticed an increasing demand for automotive filters. To meet this demand, we decided to specialise purely in the trade of automotive filters. True to our slogan "We make filters no more, no less".

Despite the specialisation and the associated reduction of our product range, we have succeeded in permanently expanding our assortment over the last 20 years. In the beginning, we supplied filters exclusively for Japanese and Korean vehicles, but in the meantime we also supply filters for all common European makes.

In order to guarantee our customers consistently high quality, we have been working with the same manufacturers for many years. Our long-standing business relationships also give us the opportunity to offer you particularly good purchasing conditions.

We have always strived to make our business as sustainable as possible by reusing around 90% of our cardboard packaging or filling material. When planning our orders, we make sure to keep stocks for several weeks. This enables our suppliers to send individual orders to us collectively. With the help of the most modern planning software, an optimal utilisation of shipping units can be calculated. This significantly reduces transport distances.

Since 2017, we are a 100% subsidiary of TYK Filter Industries. TYK is a renowned filter manufacturer with a production volume of over 50 million filters per year. These are mainly produced for the OEM, OES and automotive industries. Learn more...
